About us
Truly, a fixture in the community.
Opened in 1970 by Karen Horton Prestwood. More than half a century later, we are still dancing in the same location.
A few things we’re great at
Creating a space where dancers of all ages feel seen, supported, and inspired. From honoring tradition to embracing joyful movement, our values shape everything we do — and they’re at the heart of who we are.
Multi-Generational Programs
From toddlers to seniors, we offer classes that meet dancers where they are, at every stage of life.
Legacy and Growth
We honor our rich history while embracing fresh approaches to dance education.
Community Connection
Our studio is a place where friendships form, families bond, and generations come together through a shared love of dance.
Rooted in Tradition
We honor the art form by exploring the history and cultural roots of dance. Our students gain a deeper appreciation through a curriculum grounded in both technique and historical context, creating well-rounded, informed dancers.
Dancing for the Joy of It
We dance because it brings us joy. We are a recreational studio that believes art is for everyone. Here, dance is about self-expression, connection, and feeling good in your body, no matter your age, level, or background. Every body is a dance body.
We Celebrate Each Other
We lift each other up. Whether it’s applauding a first recital or cheering on a personal breakthrough, we believe in recognizing every dancer’s journey. Celebration builds confidence, connection, and community — and we’re here for all of it, together.
